Welcome to Sprouts House –
a place where little minds blossom!
At Sprouts House Early Learning Center, we believe every child is full of potential, curiosity, and wonder. Our center was created to be a nurturing space where children feel safe, seen, and inspired to grow—just like little sprouts.
Located in the heart of Victoria, BC, Sprouts House specializes in caring for infants and toddlers (under 36 months) through a play-based, child-led program rooted in the emergent curriculum. We follow children’s interests and support their natural development through meaningful experiences in art, nature, music, movement, and early literacy.
Spanish is thoughtfully woven into our daily routines through songs and playful interactions, and children enjoy weekly music lessons led by experienced instructors. Daily enrichment in yoga and dance further supports creativity, confidence, and physical development.
Our team of passionate, experienced educators builds strong, respectful relationships with each child and family. We honor early childhood as a time of discovery and connection, nurturing a sense of belonging, creativity, and joy in everything we do.

Through open-ended play and exploration, our educators observe, support, and extend learning in meaningful ways that honor each child’s unique voice and pace.

We incorporate music lessons into a weekly program,giving the children the opportunity to explore rhythm,melody and movement in a fun and engagin way.
At Sprouts House, children enjoy regular exposure to the Spanish language through songs, stories, and playful activities led by our fluent Spanish-speaking educators. This gentle introduction helps spark curiosity, expand vocabulary, and build cultural awareness in a fun and natural way.
We believe that open, respectful communication between families and educators is key to a child’s success. At Sprouts House, we build strong, trusting relationships with parents through regular updates, meaningful conversations, and ongoing collaboration. Together, we create a shared understanding of each child’s needs, growth, and milestones.
Our activities are thoughtfully planned to match the developmental stages of infants and toddlers. From sensory play and music to early movement and social interaction, every experience is designed to nurture growth, curiosity, and confidence—while always respecting each child’s unique rhythm and abilities.
Outdoor time is an important part of our day. Our on-site playground offers a safe and engaging space for little ones to move, explore, and play in the fresh air. When weather allows, we also take the children on stroller rides through the neighbour hood, giving them a chance to experience the sights and sounds of the world around them.

Sofia is the heart behind Sprouts House. With over 7 years of experience and a deep love for early childhood, she brings warmth, vision, and a hands-on approach to everything she does. Families are drawn to her joyful energy, strong relationships, and the meaningful connections she builds with every child.
Mithu Maria Thomas
Early Childhood Educator – Infant & Toddler
Known for her calm and caring nature, Mithu brings a gentle presence to the classroom. Her background in infant and toddler care helps her connect deeply with even the youngest children, offering comfort, consistency, and a quiet confidence that families truly appreciate.

🌈Our Prices
Simple and flexible plans for your family’s needs.
Our monthly tuition is $1,775, and we are currently in the application process to join the Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI).
Once approved, families will receive up to $900 in fee reductions, bringing the parent portion to approximately $875 per month.
Includes extracurricular activities.
📌 Registration Fee of $150 is required upon enrolment, families enrolling more than one child will receive a $75 sibling discount on the registration fee.
